ZEISS lenses

At ROCKLAND EYE, we only use premium lenses for your prescription glasses and sunglasses. We never use cheap knockoffs or "house brands". We use genuine Zeiss lenses. We take several measurements to manufacture custom lenses according to your prescription and choice of frame.

ZEISS I-terminal Mobile

All necessary eyeglass measurements including pupil distance, focal height, pantoscopic angle and galb are taken by our optometrists with the utmost attention to detail and precision. We have just integrated the latest technology from ZEISS, the mobile i.Terminal which allows high precision measurement. The final adjustment of the frame and lenses is done with care. We are proud of our work and it shows.

ZEISS UVClean: new technology for disinfecting frames and lenses

We purchased the new ZEISS UVClean device. The ZEISS UVClean deploys four germicidal UV-C bulbs to completely bathe each pair of glasses in powerful UV light. This device can disinfect frames in 40 seconds and kills up to 99.5% of common viruses and bacteria on the surface of glasses.

Single vision lenses

We use high quality eyeglass lenses with anti-scratch and anti-reflective coatings that are superior in clarity and easy to clean. All Zeiss lenses have UV protection even on clear lenses. Some of our happiest patients are high myopes and high hyperopes. For those of you who hate wearing glasses because your eyes are smaller or bigger or simply distorted with your glasses on, you will experience a world of difference. Choosing the right frame and lenses makes all the difference. We use flat aspherical lenses for less magnifying effect. For higher and more complex prescriptions, we favor the use of custom lenses. This reduces the thickness and weight of the lens.

Computer glasses

ZEISS Officelens lenses offer a personalized solution for clear and comfortable near and intermediate vision. The field of vision offered by Officelens lenses is wider compared to progressive lenses. Officelens lenses can be personalized according to the needs of each patient.

All ZEISS Officelens lenses are available with ZEISS BlueProtect UV coating which reduces some of the blue light emitted by computer screens, tablet screens and light-emitting diodes (LED).

Progressive lenses

Choosing your progressive glasses at ROCKLAND EYE clinic means faster adaptation and comfortable vision. Progressive lenses involve more complex lens designs. Cutting-edge computer technology results in custom progressives individualized for each prescription and each frame. These lenses offer a wider field of vision and better quality of vision. Premium lenses provide a smoother transition from one distance to another.
