Contact lenses
At ROCKLAND EYE Clinic, our patients benefit from the best contact lens technology available on the market. Contact lens fittings are performed by our optometrists who evaluate which contact lenses are best suited for each patient.
We believe it is important that the professional who chooses your contact lenses is the same professional who performs the complete eye exam.
Contact lenses for presbyopia
Many patients think that because they have difficulty seeing objects up close (presbyopia), they cannot wear contact lenses. Fortunately, there have been recent advances in contact lens design for presbyopia. Today, a number of multifocal contact lens options are available. Patients report better distance and near vision with newer contact lens designs compared to older designs or single vision lenses. One reason some patients may have difficulty with these lenses is the one-size-fits-all approach to contact lens fitting. Optometrists Angela and Susan Issa assess each patient's individual visual requirements to optimize both distance and near vision.
