Dr. Susan Issa, optometrist
Education
Dr. Susan Issa graduated with Great Distinction from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology. She then entered the School of Optometry at the University of Montreal. She obtained her Doctorate in Optometry (OD) in 2004 from the University of Montreal after completing a three-month internship at the Providence Veteran Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Issa is a member of the Order of Optometrists of Quebec. She completed the board examinations of National Board of Examiners in Optometry in the United States in 2006. She holds both a diagnostic and therapeutic license in optometry in Quebec.
Experience
Dr. Susan Issa has been practicing optometry in Montreal since 2004. Dr. Issa's professional interests include family optometry and pediatric and adolescent optometry. She has a large pediatric practice and has had the pleasure of seeing many of her youngest patients grow into young adults throughout her career.
Dr. Susan Issa founded the ROCKLAND EYE Clinic with her sister, Angela in 2008 and has been practicing optometry full-time for almost 18 years. At ROCKLAND EYE Clinic, she provides comprehensive eye exams for adults and school-age children and adolescents.
