Dr. Angela Issa, optometrist

Education

Dr. Angela Issa obtained her Doctorate in Optometry (OD) from the University of Montreal in 2004. She completed her internship in a hospital setting at Providence VA Medical Center, a program that emphasized ocular pathology. She completed her licensing exams from the National Board of Examiners in Optometry in the United States in 2006. She is a member of the Order of Optometrists of Quebec ands holds a diagnostic license and a therapeutic license in optometry in Quebec.

Experience

Dr. Angela Issa worked at the Drummond Eye Clinic and the Laservue Clinic for several years and worked and practiced with ophthalmologists in the fields of glaucoma, cataracts, LASIK and corneal diseases. Dr. Issa provides pre- and post-operative care for cataract surgery and certain refractive surgeries such as LASIK.

At ROCKLAND EYE, Dr. Issa works alongside family doctors and ophthalmologists in Montreal. Dr. Issa provides comprehensive eye care to her patients with a special focus on eye diseases. She accepts patients who have emergencies to treat such as floaters, flashes of light, infections or minor eye injuries.
