Rely on German know-how
Lunor relies on traditional know-how and uncompromising quality. The components developed in the brand’s workshops sometimes require several years of development. The goal is to offer you a comfortable wearing experience and an outstanding design. Each frame is acetate and hand polished.
An idea that has been around for a long time
Lunor eyewear is the result of a simple idea: “to return to authentic craftsmanship as a pioneer in the eyewear industry”. Thus, each pair of glasses is a unique piece. From the design to the processing of materials such as gold, to the high-quality accessories that are an integral part of the Lunor experience.
Based in Bad Liebenzell, Lunor eyewear has taken on the challenge of sustainability. The brand nevertheless retains its commitment to “made in Germany” craftsmanship.
The assurance of a recognized quality
All Lunor glasses leave the brand’s workshops and are checked by master opticians during the final manufacturing inspection. Because traditional craftsmanship is a definite component of Lunor’s reputation. From vintage collections to futuristic ones, none of them do without serious manual work and the use of innovative technologies.
Yes, the production steps are numerous. The use of numerically controlled machine tools and laser-controlled induction welding equipment ensures an unparalleled level of precision. No human skill can compete with such equipment. While using state-of-the-art technology, Lunor eyewear also passes through the fingers of expert spectacle makers to make the frames.
This quality of workmanship is directly reflected in the finished products. Lunor’s original w-bridge offers optimal comfort, as do the distinctive nose pads, which are made of pure titanium. Finally, each acetate frame is hand-riveted in a multi-step process. Since 2019, the brand also manufactures stainless steel eyewear from the factories located in the Northern Black Forest.
