Education
Dr Susan Issa graduated with Great Distinction with a Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology from McGill University before entering the School of Optometry at the University of Montreal. Dr Susan Issa earned her Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) in 2004 from the University of Montreal after completing a three-month optometric externship at the Providence Veteran Affairs Medical Center.
Dr Issa is certified by l’ordre des optométristes du Québec and the National Board of Examiners in Optometry in the United States. She is a member of l’association des optométristes du Québec and holds both a diagnostic and therapeutic license in optometry in Quebec.
Experience
Dr Susan Issa has been practicing full-scope optometry in Montreal since 2004. Dr Issa’s professional interests include family practice optometry and paediatric and adolescent optometry. She has a large paediatric practice and has had the pleasure of seeing many of her youngest patients grow into young adults throughout her career.
Dr Susan Issa founded ROCKLAND EYE CLINIC with her sister, Angela in 2008 and has been practicing Optometry full-time for close to 18 years. At ROCKLAND EYE CLINIC, she provides comprehensive eye examinations to adults and school-age children.
